Our filter gives you the option to choose particular websites to block, or if a website that you would like access to has been blocked by the filter, you can choose to allow it. Here's how:
1. Navigate to the 'FILTERS' page and click on the 'lists' tab.
2. In the 'Block' or 'Allow' field, add the domain name of the site (leave out the prefix 'http' or 'www.' just type it in like 'example.com'), and click 'Add'.
- Subdomains are treated separately, so test.example.com and example.example.com, and just plain example.com are treated as three separate websites and can be allowed/blocked individually.
- Anything after the .com, .net, etc doesn't matter and has no effect on the filter. So, example.com/test may not work at all, but if it does, will only affect example.com.
NOTE: Some sites have multiple domain names associated with them, and in order to completely block or allow a certain site, you will have to enter all the domain names for the site. For help with this, click here: HELP WITH BLOCKING SITES
3. For the changes to take effect on your device, restart your device or refresh Covenant Eyes.
- To refresh Covenant Eyes click on the Covenant Eyes icon and select 'Refresh Covenant Eyes'.
NOTE: If a website is getting blocked that shouldn't be, take a look here for help: BLOCKING TOO MUCH
