The primary service that WebChaver provides is called Screen Accountability, and it works as follows:
1. A program that gets downloaded onto your device (computer, phone, tablet, etc.) will monitor all of the screen activity on that device, both online and offline (Service for iPhones/Pads is slightly different. Click HERE for details).
2. The program sends a weekly report to your designated partner, the "chaver". The report will alert your chaver if an explicit image was viewed on the device. Clicking a link on the report will provide your chaver with access to a blurred screenshot of the incident along with the name of the webpage or content viewed.
3. The weekly report also contains a handful of sample images (also blurred) in order to provide your chaver with a sense of your activity for the week (Click HERE for more details about what we include in the report).
Additionally, we provide an optional filtering service to our accountability users. This comes in the form of a general filter that facilitates safe web browsing, as well as a user-defined filter that prevents access to specified sites (Click HERE to learn more about our additional filter).
